English Language Arts (ELA)

While test scores are helpful in identifying which students will most likely be successful in accelerated classes, there are equally important factors to consider, including student motivation and interest. Our students have opportunities to challenge themselves academically.

Please review the specific criteria for English Language Arts to decide the course pathway that best fits a student's interests and needs.

Please note that placements are made for the entire year. Exits from Accelerated or Pre-Honors courses are considered for students with a grade of D or F at the quarter grading period.
